 Sin separates us from God. There is nothing
that we can do, on our own, to bridge the gap, make our way back to God, and restore our
relationship with him.
 God provided the way back
to himself by sending his son Jesus to bridge the gap with his death on the cross.
 We must accept what
Christ has done for us by turning from our own way and trusting Christ as our Savior.
